# Displaying Variance

We can display the variance of the KPI value to another benchmark or comparative value.

Insert the comparative value in the ‘Values’ data field:<br>

We can now see a variation shown along with the KPI value:

We can choose which of the metrics in the ‘Values’ field must be the KPI and Variance from the KPI/Variance dropdowns in the top ribbon.
