# Date Formats

In the xViz Gantt Chart unlike any other visual, we have multiple combinations of the date format.

Use these date combinations according to the reports needs to be shown in the tooltips in the visualization.

In the formal visual pane, go to Chart options

&#x20;In Chart Options, you will find Date Format as shown below:

Select the date format suitable for your report:

The selected format will be used to display the dates in the visual tooltip:

### **Custom Date Format:**

You can also provide a custom date format:

Example: D/M/YYYY
