The xViz Performance Flow provides an interactive and insightful visualization for Organizational Performance.
The visual offers the following features to effectively display the organizational chart:
The visual offers intuitive navigation with zoom controls using mouse wheel support and drag-and-pan capabilities. The integrated minimap provides a full-hierarchy reference, allowing management to seamlessly zoom in on specific employee cards for closer examination.
Set as Top Node enables you to designate a specific node as the top-level node with its subtree structure. It allows you to analyze based on a more detailed hierarchy.
For detailed information on viewing subtrees and displaying different teams on separate tabs, refer to this documentation - Set as Top Node
The visual displays the current salary on each employee card. Additionally, by including the previous year's salary, the visual automatically calculates and shows the variance directly on the card.
For detailed information on displaying KPIs and their variance on employee cards, refer to this documentation - KPI & Variance
The visual can display the monthly performance score trends for the year, with a trend line clearly indicating employee performance over time. Additionally, other KPIs can be included to highlight their respective trends.
For detailed information on using sparklines to display KPI trends, refer to this documentation - Sparkline Trends
In addition to the reporting structure, the Performance Flow visual allows the plotting of additional dependencies through Links. Various types of dependencies can be represented using different line styles and colors, enabling management to visualize connections such as project collaborations, temporary reporting structures, and more, all integrated within the organizational hierarchy.
For detailed information on using links to display employee collaborations and temporary reporting structures, refer to this documentation - Links
The visual includes a Search feature that allows management to quickly locate specific employees within the organizational hierarchy, saving time by eliminating the need to manually navigate through the entire structure.
For detailed information on the Search function, which allows you to search for a specific employee in the organizational structure, refer to this documentation - Search
Conditional formatting in the Performance Flow visual allows for the identification and highlighting of low performers through customizable data-driven rules. In addition to highlighting low-performing employee cards—such as with a red border—other rules and formatting options can also be applied to tailor the visual appearance based on specific performance criteria.
For detailed information on Conditional Formatting, which allows you to highlight nodes based on specific conditions, refer to this documentation - Conditional Formatting
The Notes feature in the visual allows management to access additional context about employees. For example, if an employee shows a significant dip in performance, the Notes feature provides immediate insight into the underlying cause, such as health issues, reducing the need for a formal performance review.
For detailed information on the Notes feature, which displays additional information on employee cards, refer to this documentation - Notes & Annotation
